British Recycled Products launches range of recycled plastic fencing.

The launch of ultra durable and maintenance-free 100% recycled plastic fencing looks set to keep thousands on tonnes of British waste out of landfill.

Made from an innovative recycled composite plastic, British Recycled Products' range of fencing is vandal-resistant and weatherproof, and will not fade split or splinter. It is possible to saw, staple, screw and nail the fencing as with traditional materials, with the added benefit of only ever having to do it once, due to the extreme durability of the recycled material. The fencing is also rot and algae proof, and there is no need for painting and no preservatives need to be applied. BRP spokesman, Stephen Morris, enthuses "Post and rail fencing in particular is everywhere in Britain, much of it in poor repair, but this is an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional fencing materials, with far lower whole life costs. With landfill and carbon issues so high on everyones list of priorities, there has never been a better time to invest in green alternatives." "Use of this fencing lowers the carbon footprint of any project, and provides a great use for plastic that would otherwise pollute the environment or sit in landfill for all eternity. However, these environmental benefits do not come at the expense of quality or value. The fencing is extremely attractive, and represents great value for money, meaning the customer gets the best of both worlds" he added. To make calculations easy British Recycled Products sell their fencing by the linear metre. Each of the post and rail posts are spaced 1.5m apart, while the post and wire is spaced 3m apart. British Recycled Products knowledgeable staff are able to advise on technical issues, modify the fencing to meet specific requirements to complement a site, or arrange for a low cost installation. Bespoke manufacture can also be arranged. For more information visit www.britishrecycledproducts.co.uk, or call 0845 050 8415.
