Jonny Lipford, considered the True Virtuoso of the Native American flute, has officially released the first installment of his new series of booklets based upon the mysteries and style of his technique.   The  first installment, a 32-page booklet,  is titled, “Learning To Flute Outside The Box – Volume 1 – Practical Guide To Practicing” and is perfect for the beginner or seasoned player alike!

With several awards and award nominations under his belt, Jonny Lipford hopes of teaching others his methods and secrets through a series of booklets so that they might improve their own skill.  Lipford is known for his “outside the box” approach to music and business alike – this book is no different.  A few key points on this book is the fact that users can set goals, learn basic and advance techniques and have the ability to keep track of their progress with a Self Assessment Chart. The main focus of this book is the principles of properly practicing.  Lipford states in his booklet, “How you practice your Native American flute will determine the quality of player you become!”


About Jonny Lipford

Jonny Lipford began his musical journey with the Native American flute in 2002.  A Christmas present from his parents that would forever change his life.  The more he played his flute, the more it began to heal him.  Since that fateful day, Lipford has traveled over 30 states sharing his music with audiences of all walks of life.  He has released three albums since 2007 and is currently working on his fourth. His “outside the box” approach to the Native American flute and music has gained him much recognition in the music industry.  He continues to write, perform and teach music of the Native American flute.
