Ever Had A Moment Of "ah Ha" - Or "doh"? This Music Could Be For You.

Award winning guitarist and roots performer Hardwire Speers releases full length CD "Breakfast at Epiphany's" with the theme of discovery and realizations.

"Breakfast at Epiphany's" is made up of eleven songs written and performed by Calgary, Alberta musician Hardwire Speers and has been released on CD and through digital downloads.  The music on his CD is mainly based on roots blues and folk rock and has been described as "Blue Rodeo meets The Eagles crossed with Bruce Cockburn." Using his background in journalism as the source for writing lyrics, Speers uses the maxim in writing that you should "Show, not just tell the story." Speers has also honed the craft of guitar playing with over 30 years experience performing a variety of music styles. As a musician, Speers has performed for biker parties and in a jazz combo - along with several other ventures in music. His recent explorations have been into more advanced finger style guitar including learning more about pre-war blues, as well as contemporary finger style playing. "This album shows a small part of my interest in a bunch of different styles of music - and yet I think it has the continuity of bringing different elements into one voice from both a lyric and a performing aspect," explained Speers. The CD is available through his website: http://www.hardwirespeers.com as well as at CD Baby, iTunes and a variety of other electronic sources. In Calgary, the CD is available in several independent music stores - more info can be found on his web site. For more information contact: Hardwire Speers 403.230.4042 pr@hardwirespeers.com
