Combining a Unique Product With A Spirit Of Community!

Creo Mundi Combines a Unique Product with a Spirit of Community to Raise Funds for Charities Across North America Get Your Christmas Lists Ready!

OSHAWA, ON//  Creo Mundi (which is Latin for “Create Your Universe”) is announcing the “Just One Shirt Campaign” to kick off their fundraising on October 22nd.  “All it takes is Just One Shirt to make a difference in someone’s life” said Prentice.   “The shirts carry a positive message and are the perfect, absolutely unique gift. Nowhere else can you find a shirt that looks perfectly normal on the outside, but in fact on the inside is wrapping you in printed messages of Love, and Hope, Courage, Dreams, Prosperity, Strength, Unity and much more”.  The shirts are made of Bamboo (70% bamboo/30% organic cotton) and are made in Canada with yarn supplied from the U.S. “It’s like wearing cashmere” said Prentice “at a tenth of the price!”  The concept was a Fan Favourite on TV. Not only can the shirt make a difference in the life of the person who receives it, half the net proceeds on all shirts (and CDs) sold during this 2 week period will be shared with charities to make a difference in another person’s life. Prentice went on to say “we think we make it pretty easy to help someone else while you help yourself. And unlike other fundraisers where we have designated where the all funds will go, customers will have the choice this time. There will be a few options listed on the form at checkout that they can pick such as Starlight Children’s Foundation, Gilda’s Club, Losing Our Parents, and some animal organizations. But there will also be an option marked “Other” where the customer can choose the charity they want their share of charity dollars to go to. As long as it is not one that promotes hatred, discrimination, or otherwise deemed inappropriate, then we will honour that request.” According to Prentice the charity or organization can be anywhere in North America. It might be a school needing to raise funds, a sports group (e.g., Dragon Boat teams), or a registered charity. Creo Mundi recently received a US patent for their shirts (and also hold the Canadian patent). Prentice said that their shirts, called Intentional shirts for the messages they carry,  have over 200 positive words in 15 languages from around the world printed front and back inside the shirt and carry a message of Love and Hope and Courage and more. “It’s the perfect shirt for anyone who needs a bright light in their life” said Prentice. “We’ve had these described as like having a Universal Hug when you put them on, and we’ve had a 16 year old call our words “the words of life”. Sixteen years old and coming out with something like that! It’s pretty amazing the response we get.” The ladies scoop neck bamboo in different colours, and the kids shirts (in cotton) are only available online and only during these 2 week periods. You cannot buy these elsewhere. And for the first time, long sleeve versions of the bamboo shirts are available. On October 22nd from 8 am (EST) until November 5th 5pm (EST), go to: www.creomundi.com/community.php and use Just One Shirt for your Christmas gifts while helping someone else at the same time. Creo Mundi was featured in 2008 on Season 3 episode 8 of the Canadian CBC show, The Dragons’ Den (known as “Shark Tank” in the U.S.) and subsequently voted “Fan Favourite” for that week. Creo Mundi was also in TIME Magazine April 6, 2009 – the only Canadian company in this article – as part of a story on Intentional nutrition (“Mind Over Chocolate”).
