Green Energy news from Terna magazine "Notizie tra le linee"

Terna Italian web magazine "Notizie tra le linee" focus on a new Turin echo-store. The project will explain people what energy saving is all about.

"Notizie tra le linee" - the web magazine held by Terna - reports an interesting news dealing with Italy and renewable energy awareness. In December, the population of Turin will find an "Energy store" under the Christmas tree, which contrary to its name, will not sell anything, but will explain what energy saving is all about. The project was launched by the City of Turin together with the Energy Agency, founded in 1998 together with the European Union for promoting sustainable energy development. Located in Via Milano 2, in front of the municipal office, the "Energy store" will distribute information on eco-sustainable technology (lamps, photovoltaic panels, electrical appliances and last generation boilers) and informative seminars will be organized for consumers. Over 70 companies working in the energy saving sector, some of these financing part of the project, have joined this initiative. In the future and with the availability of funds, the City of Turin and the Energy Agency expect to transform the store into a showroom for renewable energy.
