JoggingBuddy steaming ahead with new members
JoggingBuddy.com the dedicated social network website for runners is reporting increased numbers of sign ups to its free "find a joggingbuddy" service. Members are flocking to the site and ditching gym memberships in light of the current recession.
JoggingBuddy.com the Social Network website is reporting an increase in members since its launch in September 2008. the website which now has over 1600 members is putting the rapid growth in members down to the economic downturn.
The website was the brainchild of Serial entrepreneur Tony Piedade. Tony Said " the website has seen some significant growth in recent weeks. I believe that in recent months people have kept a keen eye on their expenses and perhaps are now chosing to move away from their Gym memberships and instead opting for the open road. It is fair to say that as the weather also gets better, people are now more ready to run outside rather that in a gym."
