Jason Roswig, Managing Director, Business Development, GE China, will speak at GoldenNetworking.com’s China Leaders Forum 2009 (http://www.ChinaLeadersForum.com) on October 8th, in New York City. Mr. Roswig is joining a prestigious roster of speakers that includes experienced executives, experts and practitioners from leader organizations such as China Opportunity Acquisition Corp., McGovernWang, Amherst Partners, Beyondbond, InterChina Consulting, Kurt Salmon Associates and Columbia Business School, among others.
Mr. Roswig joined GE in 1999 as a trainee in GE Capital's Financial Management Program (FMP). In 2002, he joined GE Frankona Re (now Swiss Re) as the Risk Manager for the Credit & Bond / Bank Trade Finance portfolio based in Munich, Germany. In 2004, he joined GE Corporate as an Associate in the Corporate Business Development group in Fairfield, Connecticut. In 2007, Mr. Roswig was named Manager - Corporate Business Development. During his tenure with Corporate Business Development, he has worked on a variety of transactions with nearly every GE business. In addition to his transactions responsibilities, Mr. Roswig has also been involved in several projects for GE's Corporate Executive Council (CEC) and has worked closely with GE's Corporate Finance group supporting the annual Growth Playbook long-term planning process. In 2009, Mr. Roswig assumed his current position of Managing Director, Business Development, for GE China. In his new role, he is responsible for building a newly formed team, based in Shanghai, to support the GE businesses' inorganic growth initiatives and to drive M&A in China.
