Trump development opponent, novelist C.J. Beck stops another one across the pond

SIXTEEN STORIES, NO PETS author, C.J. Beck takes time off from the European book tour and uses lessons learned stopping Trump Las Olas to save his neighbourhood from another massive over-development in Yorkshire, England.

The Sheffield City Planning Board in Yorkshire, England, turned down Gilders application to develop their VW car showrooms into a supermarket-townhouse complex Tuesday. One councillor called the plans "barmy". Heavy goods vehicles and additional customer traffic on slip roads and arteries would be too much for the pot-holed "rat run" of Brincliffe Edge Road. Novelist C.J. C.J. Beck recently told a packed meeting of the Central Beach Alliance in Fort Lauderdale, "Blackstone need to seriously raise their game. Blackstone need to turn the Bahia Mar into a iconic world class marina. A place for all in Fort Lauderdale to enjoy. A place that will add value to Fort Lauderdale's tourism and marine industries,."
