Centennial Olympic Park Joins the Photography Scavenger Hunt With Big Prizes for the Winners

Enter in the competition this Saturday as Centennial Olympic Park partners with the Artist Trifecta Photography Scavenger Hunt. Big prizes and great exposure for the winning photographs. Be the lucky winner who will be seen by millions!

Centennial Olympic Park is the heart of fun and outdoors for Downtown Atlanta and is a historic hotspot for the largest event that Atlanta has ever hosted. It is the place where visitors and locals go to enjoy time with friends and family and this Saturday will be THE place for photographers looking for the perfect image to capture. The grand prize will put the winning photograph in front of millions!

Having created an unprecedented event, the Artist Trifecta Gallery hosts a Photo Scavenger Hunt, the next one this upcoming Saturday. The teams gather for the 12-hour race against the clock to shoot, edit, print and submit a scavenger hunt list of items in the Castleberry Hill Historic District and Centennial Park District. The items needed to complete the photo competition range from the obvious to riddles that have to be answered before knowing what to shoot.

With the stakes high – the Grand Prize winner of the Centennial Olympic Park clue will have their winning photograph showcased on the home page of the website, 1st place will be featured in the 2011 Fountain Pen, 2nd place will appear in the Spring 2011 Wednesday WindDown concert series program and 3rd place will be seen in the quarterly e-Fountain Pen.

The winners will be announced with a special unveiling at the Artist Trifecta Gallery on October 8 at 8pm and at Centennial Olympic Park Visitors Center on October 9 at noon. The exhibit will run through the end of December. The Visitors Center is open from 10am-6pm. For more information about the park visit www.centennialpark.com or call 404-223-4412.
