Atlanta's own photojournalist John Glenn received silver award for the "Best Cover" category of the 2009 Alliance Editorial Excellence Awards.

Georgia Trend’s recent award winning cover—a stunning view of the intricately designed Chinese lanterns that stand outside Beijing’s famed Temple of Heaven—was shot by Atlanta’s own veteran photojournalist, John Glenn. Glenn’s cover received the silver-level award in the prestigious “Best Cover” category of the 2009 Alliance Editorial Excellence Awards.
