Welcome Home Our Warriors flying billboard makes first flight

San Diego, California – – The giant flying billboard greeting ships of the U.S. Navy returning to San Diego harbor after deployment, flies for the first time today, welcoming home the Sailors and Marines of the USS Ronald Reagan taskforce. The large, colorful flying sign is being flown by a dedicated group of individuals and companies who have come together to show their support for our troops. Through their website (www.welcomehomeourwarriors.com) they have attracted a diverse group of sponsors for this noble project. Dozens of U.S. Navy vessels come and go through San Diego’s harbor each year. Returning military personnel and their families will be greeted with this beautiful and respectful image, followed by a trailing letter message that will change with each flight. Aerial Advertising in El Cajon is providing the aircraft and pilots for this project. Joe Kennington, founder and retired Marine, is realizing a long term dream in bringing this welcome home to those who serve us in our Nation’s Navy and Marine Corps.
