Lindamood-Bell to Host Overview December 10th

The overview is designed to inform students and families about the Lindamood-Bell® Instructional Model. Parents, educators, and professionals are invited to attend this complimentary presentation, which will discuss how Lindamood-Bell® instruction develops the specific mental processes that underlie reading, spelling, comprehension, and math. The presentation will also include a discussion about the causes of and solutions for learning challenges—including the symptoms of dyslexia, hyperlexia, ADD/ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. “This is an excellent opportunity for parents and educators to learn how our methods help individuals, both children and adults, overcome their learning difficulties. Our focus at the Learning Center is on the development of specific mental processes and sensory skills that underlie learning – we teach a person how to learn instead of simply practicing reading or studying techniques. Hopefully, we can share a small piece of that process with our attendees,” says Tia Jones, Director of the Weston Lindamood-Bell® Learning Center, who will be presenting the overview.
