With 2010 buyers now closing escrow, dozens of new homeowners are moving in at Del Sur.

When William Lyon Homes, Shea Homes San Diego and Standard Pacific Homes started building again this year at Del Sur, the pent-up demand for new homes was evidenced by robust sales results. With 2010 buyers now closing escrow, dozens of new homeowners are moving in at Del Sur.

“This is an exciting time of growth at Del Sur,” said Bill Ostrem, president and CEO of Black Mountain Ranch LLC, developer of Del Sur (www.DelSurLiving.com).  “In addition to this new wave of homeowners starting to move in, we’re now building Del Sur’s fifth park, and groundbreaking for the sixth park is scheduled within the next 30 days. Behind the scenes, we’re working with three builders who plan to introduce new neighborhoods to homebuyers during the first quarter of 2011.”

Since opening in 2006, Del Sur has sold approximately 600 homes spanning the spectrum from entry-level attached homes to large-lot single family detached residences.  Located within the highly regarded Poway school system, Del Sur children enjoy convenient access to the new Del Sur Elementary and Del Norte High schools.

“Our residents really appreciate the many amenities available to them, including an extensive trail system, abundant open space and their own internal neighborhood parks,” said Ostrem.
