Why believe, and why believe this as opposed to that? How do we explain extraordinary events? What is the relationship between faith and reason? How do the religious and scientific communities use -- and abuse -- our notions of God?
What Is God? contains a dialogue concerning scientific and religious debates. Noting that religion and science share concepts of cosmos, nature, origins, existence, and history, Loewen ascertains that science holds certain ideas to be “sacred” that are as religious in nature as they are philosophical.
What Is God? is about awareness and is for those not content with the world as it is -- feeling there is, and can, be more.
