Guests included DJ Premier, Raheem (Furious Five), DJ Holliday, Easy Mo Bee, De La Soul, Rhazel (formely of The Roots), Playboy Burg Brigante, Kendall Holt (Light Welterweight Champion), Hakeem (Channel Live), Indashio (Fashion Designer), Brand Nubian, Michael B. Jordan (The Wire), Tationna Bosier (College Hill), AZ, Nina B., Dulove, Sha Stimuli, and many other Hip-Hop elite in addition to over 50 media professionals. DJ Nickiee and DJ Shogun 90’s Hip-Hop selections moved the crowd throughout the fun-filled night. The “Back to the 90's” party was held prior to the VH1’s 5th Annual VH1 Hip Hop Honors production which pays tribute to hip-hop luminaries who broke new ground and pioneered the genre of hip hop into a true cultural phenomenon. This year’s honorees included Cypress Hill, De La Soul, Naughty by Nature, Slick Rick and Too $hort. The “VH1 Hip Hop Honors” broadcast premiered on VH1 and VH1 Soul on Monday, October 6 at 10PM ET/PT.
