Stella Adler Academy Joins AOF Fest 2009

AOF announces it's new association with Stella Adler Academy, Los Angeles's Premier Acting Avademy.

The recent announcement that AOF International Film Festival will be working with some of Los Angeles’ top acting schools and academies has stirred up excitement in student actors as well as local acting schools. AOF founder Del Weston said, “These new writers’ scenes are a ground breaking way to bring the written word more visually to the forefront for writers who are not used to this type of exposure. We believe that it is time to give writers as much promotion as our filmmakers get, after all doesn’t it all start with the written word?” The AOF Festival has graduated into a league of their own by providing a very strong opportunity for a number of new writers, directors and producers who have broken into the business after showing their work and winning awards at the AOF Fest. AOF marketing director Rose states “the acting scenes project is an innovative venture that no other film festival has. Del Weston has created a gate way for new writers and actors to gain tremendous exposure and recognition that they wouldn’t usually get at another independent film festival. Last year, we received phenomenal feedback on the acting scenes and we expect even more this year.” The second school to be involved in this remarkable project is the fantastic Stella Adler Academy. The Stella Adler Los Angeles Studio for Actors is a world renowned acting school located in the heart of Hollywood, California. Adler-LA offers extensive training for the serious actor in theatre, film, and television (on camera). Their modern methods of acting has been studied by many of the worlds most notable actors, directors, and writers including Marlon Brando, Robert DeNiro, Salma Hayek, Benico Del Toro, Holland Taylor, Gary Ross, Eric Stoltz, Mark Ruffalo, just to name a few.
