(Spokane, Wash.) - Businesses that exemplify excellence in the face of a tough economy will be honored at Greater Spokane Incorporated’s 24th annual AGORA Awards ceremony Tuesday, June 2nd at The Davenport Hotel. Past winners of the AGORA Awards tell Greater Spokane Incorporated the honor provides a boost to their image, employee morale, even to their bottom line. Finalists and Semi-Finalists will meet and greet from 7:00 – 7:30 a.m. The program with breakfast will follow.
Each year we solicit nominations from members, volunteers, past winners and nominees, business owners and the general public. Nominees do not need to be members of Greater Spokane Incorporated. Nominees are grouped into five categories:

The AGORA Awards are part of the region’s premiere business awards event, last year drawing over 400 attendees. Winners will be businesses in our region that exemplify excellence. A group of 20 volunteer judges are chosen from the regional and non-profit community. Judges take into account such things as company growth, marketing strategy, employee environment, response to adversity, customer service, community service and contribution to economic development and job creation.
