Baltimore, MD—When the Baltimore Small Business MeetUp group gathers in Pikesville, Maryland on February 25th, one of the speakers will be Wendy Meyeroff, president of WM Medical Communications. Her topic: Maximizing Your Company's Visibility Without Breaking Your Company's Budget.
"During tough economic times like these every business owners' instinct is to trim marketing dollars. But this is exactly the time that businesses should be thinking of ways to market themselves and their companies so as to enhance their visibility," says Meyeroff.
That’s especially true, she says, of small business owners. “When you’re competing with companies that still have much stronger resources than you, you have to get creative in reaching out to your target audience(s),” Meyeroff says.
“One trick I use is pulling companies together whose work complements each others, like a massage therapist, an acupuncturist, and a dietitian. If they pool their resources, it’s amazing the marketing avenues they can now explore,” she says.
Meyeroff’s cost-saving tips work no matter what the business. Though most of her clients have been in health care since she opened in 1987, she’s also worked with companies in computers/IT, accounting, engineering, beauty, and telecommunications, to name just a few.
The Baltimore Small Business meeting will be held at the United Methodist Church, 915 Milford Mill Road, Pikesville, MD 21208 on February 25th. Meeting begins at 7 p.m. and costs $10 to cover refreshments. For reservations, contact Beverley Pennie at 410-627-1680. Seating is limited so RSVP by Feb. 20th.
