Drift Innovation Cameras Supports The Flying Effect

Point Of View Camera Company goes soaring with Female Icelandic Paragliding Team

Boyne City, Mich. – The sky is the limit for Drift Innovation Cameras, manufacturer of the X170 and HD170 wearable action sports cameras as they team up with a female paragliding duo, coined “The Flying Effect,” for their worldwide paragliding excursion.
Iceland’s Ása Einarsdóttir and Anita Björnsdóttir lead the expedition, focused on raising awareness of women’s rights, and will capture their soaring point of view with the recently launched HD170. The HD170 is the hottest wearable action camera on the market with its smart features such as an integrated LCD screen and wireless remote control. The expedition started in December 2009 and is expected to take two years to circumnavigate the world in a paraglide. To follow their blog and itinerary, please visit:

Einarsdóttir and Björnsdóttir view paragliding and freedom with many synonymous properties, and therefore they approach their world travels as an opportunity to focus on giving women a voice, to promote their right to freedom in every nation. The Drift HD170 units provide them with the right vehicle to share their experiences with women and men worldwide.

“Drift is proud to be part of the Flying Effect’s journey and mission,” said Drift’s global director of marketing and sales, John Rounds. “We hope to provide a visionary tool for the expedition and all it’s friends, family and followers.”
