Structured Cabling Experts Attend Training in Ghana

Structured Cabling training in Ghana introduces next-generation cabling systems.

Thirty engineers and technicians from Ghana and Nigeria are the latest experts to be trained in up-to-date Structured Cabling design and installation techniques. During a three-day course in Accra hosted by Mart Network Solutions Ltd. and conducted by John Kellow the attendees were introduced to industry standards, performance specifications and implementation guidelines for both copper and fibre optic cabling systems. The course, which took place in the first week of October, included an introduction to the newest generation of cabling components. Hands-on sessions featured the installation of Category 6A connectors as well as the termination and fusion-splicing of high-performance optical fibres. According to Mart’s General Manager, Abdulhusein Rehmanji, “The last few years have witnessed a rapid increase in demand for next-generation cabling systems in Emerging Africa. These systems demand design and installation techniques of the highest calibre and I believe top-flight training is the key to achieving the very best results.” All those who attended the course undertook a final examination which, if completed successfully, qualifies them to offer product performance warranties on Mart Network Solutions’ range of Structure Cabling products.
