NewMarket Technology, Inc. (Pinksheets:NWMT) today September 4, 2009 announced the Company's subsidiary RKM IT Solutions has signed a three-year contract to provide Microsoft licensing and consulting services to Baninvest (www.baninvest.com). NewMarket and its subsidiaries are currently focused on shifting the Company's revenue base from short-term, project-based contracts to long-term managed services contracts. In recent weeks, NewMarket has announced over $65 million in new contract sales for long-term contracts. Last year, the Company reported $95 million in revenue and for the first six months of 2009 has reported $43 million in profitable revenue. Management anticipates accelerated revenue growth in the second half of 2009 and through 2010 resulting from the recent long-term contract sales. NewMarket Technology, Inc. Makes Headlines in Latin America With Recent $33 Million Service Contract
NewMarket Technology, Inc.'s (Pinksheets:NWMT) recently announced $33 million contract in Latin America has gotten notice in the region. The Company and its wholly-owned subsidiary, NewMarket Colombia, SAS, last week announced a three-year, $33 million outsourcing agreement with WBA (Wireless Broadband Access) Telecommunications, S.A. of Bogota, Colombia, under which WBA will outsource substantially all of its current operations to NewMarket Colombia. Business News Americas, a leading source of information on 12 strategic sectors of the Latin American economy serving over 1,300 subscribed multinational companies and 80,000+ registered executives across the region, interviewed the CEO of NewMarket Technology, Philip M. Verges, on the transaction. NewMarket Technology plans to grow its Colombian operation to approximately $30 million annually through organic sales. "From that point we will start looking for mergers and acquisitions to grow the subsidiary to the next level, which is $100 million in sales," Mr. Verges stated. This agreement is NewMarket's second major outsourcing agreement signed this year. NewMarket previously announced a similar agreement in Shanghai, China earlier this year.
