PHNOM PENH, August 12, 2010 – Raffles Hotel Le Royal and Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor, the leading luxury hotels of the Kingdom of Cambodia, announced the appointment of Peter Foster as Area Director of Sales and Marketing. Based in Phnom Penh, Peter will be responsible for all Sales & Marketing activities of Raffles Hotel Le Royal(http://www.raffles.com/phnompenh) and Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor(http://www.raffles.com/siemreap).

Peter has an outstanding track record of Sales and Marketing experience spanning 20 years. Prior to his new appointment, Peter was the Vice President Sales & Marketing for Puravarna Hotels & Resorts and held senior sales and marketing roles with luxury properties such as The Address Hotels & Resorts, One&Only Royal Mirage, Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Hayman Island Resorts, Mandarin Oriental and Hotel InterContinental. He also holds a Higher National Diploma in Hotel and Catering Management.

Commenting on his new appointment, Peter said with great enthusiasm: “Having always immersed myself in history and to continue my personal exploration of Asia, the opportunity to work for Raffles Hotels & Resorts of Cambodia was certainly one I could have never passed up.
