First Place Triathlete Thanks Swank Chiropractic

CARY, NC-Professional athlete, Alisha Lion, crosses the finish line ahead of the rest at the Xterra EX2 Triathlon Event taken place in the Rocky Gap State Park in western Maryland on Sunday, July 13th.  Lion gives a big thanks to her chiropractor, Dr. Timothy Swank of Swank Chiropractic Sports Medicine & Wellness Center, P.A in Cary, NC for “keeping [her] straight”. To complete a race comprised of a 1000-meter swim, 14-mile mountain bike ride, and 5-mile trail run is a victory in itself.  Finishing just over two and a half hours snatching the overall female win…priceless.  What’s her secret?  Chiropractic.  Lion makes sure to stay in top form by visiting Dr. Swank for regular spinal adjustments.   Routine spinal check-ups not only promote a healthy musculoskeletal system but also keep Lion performing at optimal levels.  Lion admits, “I couldn’t keep plugging away at all the training I do without his diligent work to keep me at my best”.
