(San Mateo, CA) - Caminar, a nonprofit agency providing community based support for people with disabilities, announced today the election of Lori Paulin, Director of Business Intelligence and Sales Performance Excellence at Hewlett-Packard, to its Board of Directors.
“We are delighted to announce the addition of Lori Paulin to Caminar’s Board of Directors. Her expertise in strategic planning and business development coupled with her extensive executive management education and experience will add to the strength of our current board.” Speaking on behalf of the entire Board, Caminar Board President Michael Paolercio stated.
Recognized at Hewlett-Packard for her strong leadership capabilities, Ms. Paulin, has held several management positions at the company such as; Manager, Center for Leadership Excellence; Sales Excellence Manager, Inside Sales; and Sales and Business Development Manager in addition to her current position. She holds an MBA from Indiana University, and a double degree B.S. /B.A from the University of San Francisco in Biology and Sociology respectively. She is an active community volunteer in numerous agencies such as Ronald McDonald House, Make a Wish Foundation, Home Away from Homelessness, and the Cancer Society. Additionally, she is an active member of the Leadership Team for Hewlett Packard’s Philanthropy Team
“Ms. Paulin’s history of business leadership and active volunteerism in a variety of nonprofit organizations will be a valuable asset as we expand our efforts in development and in communicating the excellent services that we provide in our communities. The organization, under the new leadership of CEO, Huggins, has recently elected two additional new members, John H. Clinton and Dennis Pantano, to its board this past May. “The interest and engagement of business and community leaders like Paulin, Clinton and Pantano in Caminar comes at a welcomed time our 40 year history as we increase our efforts to publicize the excellent programs and much needed support services we provide throughout San Mateo, Solano and Butte Counties.” says Huggins. “We are sincerely pleased to bring in new members to our board, building on the diversity of talents and knowledge, to help further the success of our programs and services helping individuals with disabilities.”
