Chef Joe Brown will join with Wine Maker Jim Klein of Navarro Vineyards on February 20th,2009, in celebration of the fourth annual Anderson Valley International Alsace Varietal Festival and Earth Day on April 18th, with Jim Fetzer CEAGO VineGarden with a Biodynamic Winemaker Dinner and an “Organic Farmer’s Market” from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
Chef Brown trained at the New England Culinary Institute and has drawn upon the best of influences in creating his own Northern California Coastal Cuisine, Joe hails from a prominent culinary background beginning at Seeger’s Atlanta with internationally recognized chef Guenter Seeger, described as “the high priest of Atlanta cuisine, and a highly regarded Relais -Chateaux Five Star Award Recipient, and then at the Dining Room, Ritz Carlton Buckhead, a Five Diamond Mobil Star Property

Brown arrived in California at Navio, Ritz-Carlton’s Half Moon Bay and worked under French Master Chef Xavier Salomon Santé at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn where he was instrumental in gaining national recognition including a Four Diamond Mobil Four Star. Recently Brown was the Executive Sous Chef under Executive Chef Wayne Hirabayashi at the Kahala Hotel and Resort Kahala, Hawaii a Four Diamond Mobil Star Recipient.
