Emmy-award winner and former CNN business anchor Valerie Coleman Morris has joined forces with the National Association of Professional Women with a weekly broadcast segment called Valuable Money Tips with Valerie Coleman Morris.
National Association of Professional Women members will receive a weekly email with a teaser video for that week’s Valuable Money tips segment.
The exclusive segments can be found at www.napw.com and include topics such as ways to save money, how to improve your credit score, financial scam alerts, saving on car rentals and more.
Morris’ “passion” is to give women the tools to become financially savvy and independent.” She believes that each of the National Association of Professional Women Valuable Money Tips segments, which are about a minute and half long, are “full of useful, practical and digestible information geared to help NAPW members make their money work for them!”

Morris' broadcast career spans more than 35 years across both coasts. She came to CNN in 1996 and became a business reporter for CNN and CNN International. In her latter years at CNN, Morris reported primarily on personal finance issues with a daily segment called ‘Smart Assets.’
Morris decided to follow her passion and focus on financial independence as an aspect of business and social economics. A sought-after lecturer on financial literacy and money management, Morris also works as a facilitator and keynote speaker for corporate events.
Morris can also be heard on CBS Network Radio in a nationally syndicated radio column called "With the Family in Mind,” which focuses on family and sandwich generation issues and their money implications.
