Samantha Lester joins Cinema City International Film Festival Mentorship Program

As the Cinema City International Film Festival approaches its September 10th kick off, co-founder and mentorship coordinator Suzanne DeLaurentiis continues to prepare young actors and filmmakers for careers in the industry.

Samantha Lester got her first taste of musical theater as a toddler, following her mother around the stage in her walker.  Acting, singing and dancing has always been a way of life for Samantha, who grew up in Texas.  After graduating, she moved to Los Angeles and studied at The Actorswork, ESI Network, Henke Acting Studio, Talent To Go, AIA Studios, and New York Film Academy. Some of Samantha's skills include advanced dance, musical theater, pop and classical singing, as well as languages and sports. Her exceptional talent and training have paid off in a number of lead roles in both theater and film, and caught the attention of producer Suzanne DeLaurentiis.  DeLaurentiis accepted Samantha into the Cinema City International Film Festival Mentorship Program and is currently working with her on all aspects of acting and career development. Though Samantha's first passion is acting, she is currently taking writing classes at UCLA.  Samantha is excited to one day star in a role of her own creation.
