The Sleep Pea Angel Literacy Organization, Inc. (SPALO) celebrates their one year anniversary!

This month marks the one year anniversary of the Sleep Pea Angel™ Literacy Organization, Inc. (SPALO).   “We are very excited about the numerous opportunities we’ve had this year in the Greater Atlanta area, GA to encourage over 1,200 children to embrace the joy of reading while improving their reading and writing skills.  We will continue our mission to improve the lives of children on book at a time” says Founder, DiAnn Y. Mason.  As SPALO begins their second year of operation, the organization plans to expand their efforts and outreach to serve more children in economically disadvantaged communities.   SPALO sends out a special thank you to all of the volunteers, educators, staff, and Board Members for making this first year a successful one.  SPALO’s vision is to see children develop to their fullest potential.  The organization encourages each of us to give our time and talent to help the children of the world, who are indeed our future, become all that they can be!   Congratulations Team SPALO, great job!! “SPALO is dedicated to improving the lives of children one book at a time.”
